In 2020, the EU Commission issued a collection of case studies to show how DigComp can be (and is) used in practice, especially by organisations relevant for the labour market. Author of the report was the "Joint Research Centre", the EU body that also had developed DigComp itself in the years since 2013.

The analysis focusses on 9 cases, selected out of a larger field of 27. The idea was to learn from the experience of labour market actors providing digital skilling services using DigComp.
