February 2025
Accredited by Erasmus+ in the field of youth since 2022, LENA has been developing European mobility opportunities for young people and youth workers within its network. In February 2025, LENA organized its first ever mobility program for youth workers. The program was developed by a working group from the steering committee of the project "Robotics and Popular Education", in partnership with La Scientothèque, in Brussels, Belgium. This mobility was funded by the Erasmus+ Youth and Sport program and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region.
The chosen theme was "understanding and use of digital tools by young people for civic, ethical and responsible purposes".
Ten youth workers from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine network took part in this opportunity and traveled to Brussels, accompanied by Sarah Gourvil from LENA, the project coordinator.
Participating organizations included: ENSC (Espace Numérique Sud Charente), the Municipality of La Jarrie, Récréasciences CSTI, TUCSS (Tujac Culturel et Sportif Association), FAL 19, the Ligue de l’Enseignement of Gironde, the Ligue de l’Enseignement of Landes, Biblio.gironde, and the Aïga Media Library of Izon. They met with staff from La Scientothèque as well as members of the associations FOR’J, ASBL Super Étudiant, and CREDASC – CEDD Asbl.
The mobility took place from Monday, February 17, 2025 to Friday, February 21, 2025 in Brussels, Belgium.
During the mobility, a workshop on best practises was organised and LENA chose to present DigCompAE project to the French and Belgian participants, who expressed strong interest in attending a future training session and accessing the project’s materials.
